I am going to strart an online auction site like ebay. Does anyone know where I can find good auction software. Most of the prices I have found for software has been $800.00 and up. I would like to find a less expensive software if possible.

I need an auction software for free for my site so people that visit my site can bid and it will show time remaining and people will be able to post auctions.

Hi, I want to use several public marketplaces such as ebay to sell my products as well as shopping engines, paid search on google. i was using Auctiva.com but they will now not allow me to list without using paypal and I dont want to as fees are too high i am only selling odds and sods of kids clothing and things

I know about Auctiva, and I'm wondering if there are any other GOOD sources for FREE auction templates. I'd prefer to be able to download the templates so I can modify them offline, rather than a service where the templates are integerated with a hosting or listing service and you can only modify the templates online. So any sites out there (besides Auctiva) where I can get good auction templates for free, or any good free software out there to create auction templates offline? Thanks for any suggestions!

The problem is, I was quoted 40-50 thousand to make each site (except for the other business ideas). I just dont have that kind of money to even build one site. I will list the ideas below, and could you please tell me which idea you think is more profitable. How should I go about building the site? Should I hire someone on craigslist, rent a coder, etc.? Or should I try to build it my self? What should I use? I dont know programming or coding or web design. 1. My first idea is a website where users can submit original songs and other users can listen, rate, comment, share, and chat with other users. Users could also create a page where they could post info, and find new band members. I like this idea since the only competition is www.purevolume.com. PureVolume is making $300 a day! If I make a better site, why can't i make that or more? I would sell ad space on the site. Accounts would be free, but if the site became big enough, I would create a pro membership that costs money in addition to the free account. If you think this site is profitable, how should I build it? Should I hire someone or build it myself. If build it myself, how should I build it? 3. My third idea is to sign up for resellerdynamics. You pay $1000 to them and they give you liscense to re sell there website building software on your own website and charge fees per month. they were reviewed in small business opportunity mag as a good opportunity and bbb says they are legit. 4. My last idea is to make a website with lots of articles, reviews, comparisons, etc. on cell phones. I would also sign up to be an affiliate with verizon, att, sprint, etc., and sell phones on my site. I know there are a lot of competition out there such as phonearena, phonedog, cnet, and mobiledia, but each site doest the same thing as the other site, and they all are making great money. By the way, is a website like this or a website in general considered a company? Could you be a CEO of the company that runs the website. My parents think i should do a business like normal teens where you mow the lawn, babysit, etc, but I really want to do online business and hopefully make a good living. I have been selling on Yahoo Auctions for about a week, and it seems like I would have a better chance selling if I had tools to bring attention to my items. I can't seem to find Yahoo's method of creating traffic to my items. What can I do? Or would I be better of going to Ebay?

Can anyone suggest any good freeware ebay/auction sniper software tool/s that work with Windows 7 O/S? There are many auctions that end during times that its not possible to be at a computer/pc/laptop. Anyone having any advise on good freeware for this purpose would be much appreciated as I suffer from chronic illnesses, and being able to set up some pre-bids with a free auction sniper-ware would be a huge help to enable them to be set in during my 'brighter' times and give me more success, as I have to use the internet for all my needs including prezzies for birthdays, christmas, thankyou's, etc etc. Anyone with a helpful suggestion for a freeware sniper software would be most gratefully received, thank you 8-) Best wishes to all out there
